Day 15 of Giving
Oh today, today I gave to my work.
It's almost 10 pm and I'm just finishing up this last blog post. I am about to spend the next hour working. I work for a pharmaceutical company (if you google me, it's not hard to find out who I work for) and help people get coverage for an expensive drug.
It's the new year, and it's one of the busiest times of the year for us. So I'm devoting the next hour/hour and a half to work. It's not because I want to climb the corporate ladder or because I'm going to get paid overtime (I'm not). But because people's well being is at stake here. And hopefully whatever I can get done in the next hour or so will help someone out a bit quicker than if I didn't work.
