Day 28 of Giving

It's always nice when our Edmonton friends are in Vancouver for a visit. Our friends were in town for a business event and asked us to look after their 3.5 year old for a day/night. We are lucky in that we have my mom and my sister to look after the kids all the time. And when we don't, we have a handful of super trustworthy babysitters who just adore our kids. So when someone asks us to look after their kid, we are readily available to help.

Henry is awesome. He is 10 months older than Mack. We started off the day swimming during Mack's swimming lesson at the River Rock Casino. And then we went to IHOP for brunch. Got home, had some quiet time (thank God!). Then headed out to the park, then hot chocolate at Starbucks. Came home, went to a Pho restaurant for dinner. Then the kids settled on the couch and watched Frozen. Then it was bed time.

It was a packed day and that's how we roll around here at the Nickel house. Mack called Henry her best best friend. And Henry said he just wanted to babysit Mack. He also does not like Bree crying. It was an entertaining day with 3 kids around!

I am not sure if we're meant to have 3 kids, but I'll gladly take other people's temporarily. Thanks for a great time Henry!
